The Bryant Parks and Recreation Department will host the Hershey's Track & Field Games at the Bryant High School Stadium track on Tuesday, May 12. Boys and girls ages 9 through 14 are eligible to compete free of charge.
Registration will begin at 4:45 p.m., with the races beginning at 5:15.
The program teaches basic running, jumping, and throwing skills. Contestants may enter as many as three events. They will be broken up into three age groups, 9-10 year olds, 11-12 and 13-14.
The events include 50-meter dash, 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash, 4×100 meter relay, standing long jump and softball throw. Awards and certificates will be handed out at a concluding ceremony around 6:30 p.m.
