The World Series champion Bryant 13-year-old Babe Ruth All-Stars were welcomed home on Friday evening with[more] a ride through town to Bishop Park where a reception was held in their honor. The team capped off a 19-0 run through District, State and Regional Tournament and the World Series, defeating Greenville, N.C., 4-3, in the championship game of the World Series in Kitsap County, Wash. At the World Series, Bryant outscored its six opponents by a combined 58-19. Overall, they won nine of their 19 games by run-rule and outscored their opponents 282-47.
