Bryant’s opening burst commenced with walks to Noah Davis and Speer. Davis stole his way to third and, when Speer stole second, he raced home. Wilson singled in the second run then swiped second and scored on a double by Dillon to make it 3-0.
Walks to Schroeder, Clay and McDonald followed before Orender cracked a two-run double to increase the lead to 6-0.
Oak Grove took advantage of a trio of hit batsmen in the second. A double cleared the bases then that batter scored to make it 6-4. After a walk, Dillon relieved and Bryant turned a 6-4-3 doubleplay to end the inning.
