The Bryant White Lady Hornets seventh grade team of Bryant Middle School kept its unbeaten season going but in an eighth grade B game, the Bryant Blue Lady Hornets of Bethel Middle School prevailed 19-17 on Tuesday night.
In the eighth grade B game, Bethel was led by Alyssa Fason’s 7 points. Bailey Brazil added 6. Evelyn Rigsby, Kenya Rideout and Mika Boyle each has 2 points.
In the seventh grade, Bryant White’s 37-10 win was paced by Tierra Trotter’s 8 points. Tyianna Robinson and Sierra Trotter scored 7 points each while Gianni Hulett and Mekeycia Baker had 4 apiece. Celena Martin, Kinley Oholent and Ivory Russ finished with 2 each and Madyson Scifres hit a free throw.
For Bethel, Casey Welch finished with 4 points. Cali Rogers, Mary Hinkson and Jodee Sudbury scored 2 apiece.
Now 8-0, the Bryant White seventh grade team plays again on Tuesday, Jan. 27, against Cabot North.
The Bryant Blue seventh grade team, now 3-3, hosts the Anthony School on Thursday, Jan. 22.
