NORTH LITTLE ROCK — Ivory Russ scored 17 points to lead the Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade team to a 44-14 romp over North Little Rock Gold on Thursday.
The win improved the Lady Hornets to 6-0 on the season going into a home game against Cabot South on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
Celena Martin added 11 points, Tiyanna Robinson 8. Tierra Trotter, Sierra Trotter, Alivia Allen and Kendall Scott pitched in with 2 apiece.
“The team did a great job with our half-court defense and sharing the basketball,” said Lady Hornets coach Kenny Hays. “We also were much improved on the free-throw line.”
