NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School advanced to the championship game of the North Little Rock Invitational Tournament at Lakewood Middle School Wednesday night with a 32-4 win over North Little Rock Gold.
The game, originally scheduled for Tuesday, was moved to Wednesday due to flooding at Lakewood.
The Lady Hornets are scheduled to play for the championship of the tourney tonight at 5:35 p.m., against E-Stem.
“Once again, our team played a great game defensively for four quarters and played very unselfishly on offense,” commented Bryant coach Kenny Hays.
Tiyanna Robinson led the team with 13 points. Madalynn Thompson had 6, Ivory Russ 5 and Celena Martin 4. Kinley Oholendt and Madyson Scifres added 2 apiece.
