In an eighth-grade girls game at the Bethel Middle School gym on Thursday night, the Bryant White Lady Hornets of Bryant Middle School earned a victory over the Bryant Blue Lady Hornets.
Bryant White was led by Jordan Hancock with 12 points. Jayla Keith added 10 with Savannah Lucas scoring 6, Daria Greer 4. Caitlin LaCerra and Devyn Summons scored 2 each while Jayla Purifoy and Emma Chappell pitched in with a free throw apiece.
For Blue, Taryn Keim scored 4 points with Madelyn Sanders adding 3. Heather Hammett scored 2 while Christine Mefford hit a free throw..
Bryant White returns to action on Monday against Sheridan before traveling to Cabot North on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Bryant Blue visits Russellville on Monday to wrap up its pre-Christmas schedule.
