As part of her Girl Scout Gold Award Project, Mikaela Monahan, 15, organized a Volunteer Fair to connect people interested in volunteering to the organizations and businesses who need them and to encourage members of the community to volunteer and spread awareness.
The Fair will be held today and tomorrow from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., at the Bryant High School multi-purpose room, 801 No. Reynolds Road.
The Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, recognizing girls who “demonstrate extraordinary leadership through remarkable Take Action projects that have sustainable impact in their communities and beyond.”
