The Bryant High School varsity dance team finished 15th in the nation out of a field of 84 in the Small Varsity Pom category at the annual National Dance Team championship in Orlando, Fla., the weekend of Feb. 1-2.
The Bryant team also reached the semifinal round in a field of 72 in the Small Varsity Hip Hop category.
Members of the team include seniors Marley Cole, Sarah Curry, Autumn Hurley and Haley Trantham; juniors Kianna Ellithorpe, Jessica Kooiman, Danielle Mashburn, Jayme Rash and Lexie Summers; and sophomores Hadley Balisterri, Lauren Carmack, Alexis Landers, Olivia Owen, and Taylor Wilson. The squad is coached by Laura Wooten.
