Bryant residents, get ready for trick-or-treaters to come out on Saturday night, Oct. 30 instead of Halloween night, which is on Sunday this year.[more]
In last week's City Council meeting, Mayor Larry Mitchell made an announcement that Halloween would be celebrated on Saturday night instead of Sunday this year in accordance with the rest of Saline County.
"I had a lot of calls about when Halloween would be this year and I asked everybody if they didn't have an objection to it, could we tell everyone it will be Saturday," Mitchell said. "All of them were in agreement. There were no objections. Benton and the county are doing it on Saturday, too, so everybody is getting on the same date, so there won't be kids running around for two days."
