The pre-season benefit games for the Bryant Lady Hornets softball team and the Bryant Hornets baseball team to be held today have been postponed while the pre-season soccer scrimmages set for tonight have been moved to[more] this Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. at Bryant Stadium.
Tonight's basketball games at the Bryant gym will be held as scheduled with the girls game against Mount St. Mary Academy beginning at 6 and the boys game around 7:30 p.m.
No make-up dates have been decided on the softball and baseball contests. Both teams are scheduled to play on Monday. The Lady Hornets will take on the rival Benton Lady Panthers to inaugurate the softball field at Bishop Park. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m. The baseball team travels to Pine Bluff to take on the Zebras at Taylor Field.
The Bryant soccer teams officially open the season at the Northwest Arkansas Invitational in Bentonville on March 4. The matches scheduled against the Benton teams on March 3 have been moved to March 14. It'll be throwback night for the boys who will be wearing uniforms from the 1996 season.
