Luke Curtis scored a game-high 11 points as the Bryant Blue Hornets eighth grade team of Bethel Middle School evened its record at 7-7 with a 25-12 win over Little Rock Episcopal Thursday night. It was the team’s final game at the Bethel gym. The Hornets wrap up the season on Thursday, Feb. 13, against Conway Blue at the Bryant Middle School gym.
Sam Chumley and Matthew Sandidge added 5 points each for the Bryant Blue. Malcolm Moody scored 4.
The Hornets broke the game open in the third quarter by holding Episcopal to just 1 points. It was 5-4 after a quarter and 12-10 at the half but by the end of the third quarter, Bethel held a 20-11 lead.
