Bryant Chamber of Commerce executive director Rae Ann Fields called the 2012 Taste of Bryant event at The Center at Bishop Park a[more] huge success. She noted that it was the first time that advanced tickets for the event sold out. There were a record number of restaurants that participated as well.
"It takes such a huge effort," Fields said. "The number of volunteers involved might surprise people. It was a smooth event but a lot of people put time, thought and effort into making it that way. There are many details and lots of leaders take on various aspects – decorations, silent auction, kids area, set up, clean up, etc. And, the staff at Bishop does a whole lot more than rent a room. They are very helpful and great problem solvers."
