The Bryant Blue Lady Hornets eighth grade team of Bethel Middle School outscored the Anthony[more] School Lady Panthers 10-0 in the fourth quarter to turn a close contest into a 26-12 victory.
The Lady Hornets improved to 11-3 this season going into their game on Thursday against Lake Hamilton at the Bryant Middle School gym.
Kendal Rogers scored 9 points and Sarah Kennedy 8 to lead the Lady Hornets. Reagan McCormick pitched in with 3 points while Riley Hall and Bethany Hutchison scored 2 each.
Kennedy and Hill came up with three steals apiece. Kasey Ward collected five rebounds with Hill, Hutchison, Ti Foote and Penny Smith hauling down three boards each.
Bethel led 5-2 after a quarter and 12-6 at the half. The Lady Panthers rallied to within 16-12 by the end of the third quarter.
