Two weeks after they were scheduled to open the season, it looks like the Bryant Lady Hornets softball team will actually get to do so when they travel to Nashville today with the sun shining. Bryant has had seven games (including the pre-season benefit contest) cancelled by ice, snow, rain or wet conditions over the last two weeks.
In addition, the Hornets baseball team has added a home game against Star City this evening at 5 p.m. Bryant, just back from a 4-0 trip to Waco, Texas, was scheduled to play Watson Chapel but because of the inclement weather, the Wildcats needed the date to make up a conference game.
To make it a full slate of action, the Bryant soccer teams host Cabot tonight as well. The varsity girls game commences at 5 with the boys varsity contest following around 7.
