WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? The red Power Ranger
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I want to go to college. I want to play football in college. I want to Masters in Psychology. I know I want to stay in the central Arkansas area so it might end up being UCA.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Coach (Paul) Calley. I never really had a set-in-stone father figure and as soon as I got here in Bryant, he accepted me in and I feel like he was a dad to me.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT FOOTBALL: Just being able to release my anger on people. You know, when I’m mad I can go out there and take it out on the other team.
POSITION: Cornerback
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? Usually I get the best receiver so my goal is to don’t let them get the ball pretty much.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? We’re looking good but we still need a lot of work. This team could go really far if we stay focused.
WHEN THE TEAM’S PLAYING WELL, WHAT’S THE KEY TO THAT? I just think when everybody gets excited at the same time, when the sideline is happy and everybody on the field is happy, we end up scoring a lot and the defense gets a lot of three-and-outs just because we’re happy together instead of everybody blaming each other.
WHAT'S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? I would say us coming back from a 14-0 start in the Salt Bowl.
WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? Just dedication and will.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? I’m real confident about shutting down my side of the field. It doesn’t matter who’s over there, how tall he is, how fast he is, I’m confident that he won’t touch the ball.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? Just me being the best football player and the best teammate that I can be. I always want to be somewhat of a mentor to people out here so that’s what I work on the most.
AFTER YOU'RE THROUGH PLAYING FOOTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? The family.
