WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I’m going to Arkansas Tech to major in Mechanical Engineering and play baseball.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Probably Coach (Mark) Cain; he just taught me so much about not just catching but how to go about my business and really inspired me.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT BASEBALL: Just coming to work every day. Coach (Kirk) Bock teaches us to work hard every day and I like that. I can see how it’s shown through in my life.

WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH AT THE PLATE? Depending on the situation; mainly, just keep the ball there and give myself a chance.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? We struggled a little bit early in conference but I think we’re starting to figure it out, hoping to finish strong.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? We probably had a lot more success in Texas and Florida this year than we had in the past.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? We’ve just got to stay focused and do what we need to do.
