OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Probably James Scoggins; he’s always been there like in sports when I was younger.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT CROSS COUNTRY: The long runs.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH TO A RACE (Strategy/Preparation)? I try not to warm up too much.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON? We’re better than we were last year though the season’s gone a little crazy with all schedule changes and the injuries but we’re doing pretty good compared to last year.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON? Just the sophomores that have stepped up.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT CONFERENCE AND STATE MEETS? Practice hard and run to the best of our ability, don’t worry about injuries and all that.
