WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Probably, Barbie
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I’m going to go to Henderson State University, nursing.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Probably my old youth pastor, Brian. He was there for me for everything. He was like a big brother.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT CROSS COUNTRY: Just the relationships, the friendships I make with my teammates.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH TO A RACE (Strategy/Preparation)? I just try to get my head in the game and I pray before every race.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON? We’re doing good. We’ve won both of our races. A lot of people are hurt but I think if we just keep working hard then we can probably win State.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON? For me, it’s just knowing that I’m a senior and I’m giving it all I have.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT CONFERENCE AND STATE MEETS? We need to work on pack running a lot and getting more people up with the front group.
AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH RUNNING CROSS COUNTRY AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Probably just the friendships I made and how running taught me more about life than I thought it would.
