FAVORITE THING ABOUT SOCCER: Being with my closest friends day in and day out, winning or losing, and working our hardest to be the best team we can.
POSITION: Outside right defender
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? My primary responsibility on the field is to step in front of the other team’s forwards so that they will not be able to begin an attack.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I believe that the season has been going great.
WHEN THE TEAM’S PLAYING WELL, WHAT’S IT DOING? The team is passing, communicating, switching the field, and using everyone’s talents to better the team as a whole.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SEASON SO FAR? Beating Bentonville in the Fort Smith tournament.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? We are going to have to continue playing to our strengths. Our passing game and constant communication is what will help us win. Also, we need to keep a level head and work harder everyday to prepare us for the State tournament.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? I feel confident stepping to the ball first before the other team and switching the field.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? 1 vs. 1’s
AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING SOCCER AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? I will forever remember the constant support and love from teammates, coaches, and parents. I will never forget the pump-up speeches, random singing during stretching, and cracking jokes with my best friends while doing the one thing we love the most, playing soccer.
