FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST OR GROUP: I don’t have a favorite artist but my favorite music is rap.
FAVORITE MOVIE: Transformers
FAVORITE TV SHOW: Family Guy
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? I had a little Power Ranger that I liked to play with.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Go to college at Pulaski Tech. I haven’t decided what to study yet.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Probably just my friends because I’m not really close to any older people. I don’t have any older siblings. I’m with my friends most of the time. If I’m not with my parents, I’m with them.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT BASEBALL: I don’t know. I like just getting up there and getting a hit and just watching it come off the bat. It just feels good.
POSITION: First base and pitcher
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH AT THE PLATE? Try to hit a fastball early in the count, preferably an inside pitch.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH ON THE MOUND? Living low, throw strikes, fill it up.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think we’re starting to do real good. We’re starting to get some confidence in us. I think it’s going to be a good year.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Beating Benton.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON AND AT STATE? Keep working hard like we’ve been doing.
TALK ABOUT YOUR GAME: WHAT DO YOU FEEL MOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO? I just feel like I can go up there and hit the ball when I’m needed.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE ON IN PRACTICE? Hitting.
AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING BASEBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Probably everything that we went through and how it really did help us even though it tore us down. Whenever we have to run, it’s really for the better for us.
