WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I plan to go to A-State and major in Engineering.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My grandparents and my uncles. My grand-dad always taught me to work all the time, don’t be lazy, just always be doing something, don’t be one of those guys that’s just a house-bum, pretty much.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT FOOTBALL? The speed of the game and how competitive it is.
POSITION: Linebacker
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think it’s pretty good. I think that we’ve showed that we can be that team if we really put our mind to it. Go out there and be ready to play.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Definitely beating Greenwood because no one thought we would.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? Come out with that same intensity every week. Come out like we’re the underdog. If we keep doing that, we’ll keep getting those wins.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? My ability to play fast.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? Focus and being able to remember the plays and stuff, and not have like brain cramps on the field.
AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING FOOTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Just the way that you can interact with each other on the team and how we can connect. And the coaches and how they changed the way I am, because before I came here I wasn’t the person you see today. I was kind of on the bad side of things. I come to Bryant and I kind of got on a straighter path.
