WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Barbie Jeep

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I want to attend Pulaski Technical College and major in Special Education.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO’S HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? HOW? Haley Holliman has had a big influence on my track career because she has been my encourager since ninth grade. She has encouraged me to always to do my best and don’t worry about anything else.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT TRACK? When we attend track meets at different schools and meet new people!

EVENTS? Mainly Discus, occasionally Shot Put

WHAT APPROACH DO YOU TAKE TO YOUR EVENTS? BHS Thrower Motto “Higher, Faster, Stronger.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think this rainy weather has made the season terrible, but having less track meets just requires us to work harder during practice to be ready for a meet.

WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Coach (Dan) Westbrook told the discus throwers that we are first, third and fifth leading into conference this year!

WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT CONFERENCE AND STATE?  We all need to remember this is a team effort not an individual win. We will all have to work together and cheer each other on to accomplish our goals.

TALK ABOUT YOUR EVENT NOW; WHAT DO THINK IS YOUR BIGGEST ASSET? WHAT ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO? Being able to throw the discus is the best feeling knowing I am one of few small throwers. My legs help me the most in my event because of the muscle strength to spin.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST IN PRACTICE TO IMPROVE ON? As a thrower we have to perfect our spins, but I can’t get myself to stand up tall when I finish my throw.

WHEN YOU’RE THROUGH RUNNING TRACK AT BRYANT HIGH SCHOOL, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL LOOK BACK AND REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE? I will look back on how far I have grown over the years. All the fond memories with Coach (John) Orr and the many laughs we have shared with all the throwers. I will truly miss all the throwers.
