WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Let’s say, my tricycle
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I plan to go to the United States Army
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Definitely my grandparents from Ohio. They’ve just always been there for me if I needed someone to talk to. They’ve been there for me to talk to and supported me with everything I’ve done.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT FOOTBALL: Hitting people.
POSITION: Linebacker and deep snapper
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? Deep-snapping, it’s not to mess up. At linebacker, it’s to make sure they don’t get a big run.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? It’s gone pretty good. I was kind of hoping for my senior year we’d have an undefeated season but that didn’t happen. But I really think we’re really good this year. I expect to win State and conference. Hopefully, we’ll get a conference victory this week going into Little Rock Central. But I expect to win a State title too.
WHEN THE TEAM’S DOING WELL, WHAT’S IT DOING? We’re scoring. Everybody’s executing right. The defense is flushing people out, making tackles and not allowing big plays. The offense is making big plays and not having turnovers.
WHAT'S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? That would be Weezy’s (Dillon Winfrey) kickoff return against Conway.
WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? Just come out and execute, play like we know how to.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? To get the ball to the punter as quick as I can and as accurate as I can.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? My quickness in my snap and how quick it gets back there.
AFTER YOU'RE THROUGH PLAYING FOOTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? The support from the coaches, I think. The school that I came from — teamwork, I guess, would be what it is. The school I cam from everybody was kind of individually playing for nobody but themselves. But here at Bryant, everybody’s playing for each other and I think that’s definitely made a mark on me.
