WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Probably my Game Boy.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? To attend the University of Arkansas. I’m still not sure what I’m going to major in.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? I’d have to say my friend’s parents, my friend’s dad Mr. Steve. He’s just kind of a role model. He’s always there for me. I know I can turn to him if I need anything. He’s kind of offered a lot of advice.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT FOOTBALL: Really, hanging out with the friends you make and then winning.

POSITION: Strong safety.

WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? Get the secondary lined up and just take care of my assignment, whatever I’ve got to do that play.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think whenever we play like we can play, we’re pretty tough to beat but if we have little mistakes and play selfish football then, like against Northside, we can have holes in the defense and offense doesn’t really mesh. We can have problems.

WHEN THE TEAM’S DOING WELL, WHAT’S IT DOING? It’s playing assignment football. Everybody’s in the same coverage. There’s no miscommunication. Everybody’s taking care of their guy. They’re in coverage zones. They’re taking care of their guy whether it’s pitch man, quarterback. Just playing how we’ve been coached to play.

WHAT'S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? For me, my interception last game. For the team, probably destroying Catholic.

WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? The opponents get better and better each week, so we’ve got to come out and focus and just work on the next opponent and get ready

INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? I guess just keeping the secondary and linebackers in order, keep coverages right and just hope everybody plays like they can.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? Tackling. I feel like I’m a weak tackler. I need to get better.

AFTER YOU'RE THROUGH PLAYING FOOTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Probably just the fun times I’ve had with my friends. You know, all my close friends are on the football team and we always have a blast even if it’s out here in practice. We make it fun.
