WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? A baseball bat.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My teammates. With this new playing for everybody, you respect them and they respect me. That’s how we play.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT BASEBALL: Playing centerfield and just going to get the ball at all costs.
POSITION: Centerfield.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE TEAM? To be a leader and help the younger kids to play better. In centerfield, just be a leader in the outfield and try to get to every ball to help the pitcher out.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH AT THE PLATE? To hit the ball as hard as I can and get on base
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? The season is going good. We kind of hit a slump there a little bit but I think we’re back now to where we’re playing really good baseball.
WHAT'S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? The Van Buren game when we came back and we beat a really good pitcher.
WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? Like we’ve been playing the last couple of games, playing for each other and just playing hard every inning and every play of the game.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? Play centerfield.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? Hitting.
AFTER YOU'RE THROUGH PLAYING BASEBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Just all the time we spent together and I guess the 5:30 in the morning practices are always fun too.
