WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Army men
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Go to college at the University of Arkansas; I’m not sure yet, probably business.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My older brother; I just look up to him and he’s always there for me when I need him.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT CROSS COUNTRY: Definitely running with my friends, and setting goals and achieving them.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH TO A RACE? I just like to get focused and listen to music, kind of get isolated from everybody else.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON? I’m doing pretty good. I haven’t gotten my PR yet but I’ve been running well.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON? The Russellville meet. It was my best race and the weather was perfect.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT CONFERENCE AND STATE MEETS? Just stay focused and run to the best of our abilities and not let anybody intimidate us.
AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH RUNNING CROSS COUNTRY AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Definitely Coach (Steve Oury) and just running when I didn’t think I could, running a time I didn’t think I could.
