WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? I’d say my football.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Just to go to college and get a degree. I’ve got an academic scholarship to SAU so I’ll probably go there. I want to be a football coach.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? It’s hard to narrow down to one person because I’ve moved a lot and been around a lot of people. Probably just the rest of my family in general, just keeping my head on straight.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT FOOTBALL? I like to hit people and I like to be with the team, have the team camaraderie and all that stuff.
POSITION: Defensive tackle.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY THERE? Stop the run and get a pass rush.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think we’ve done all right. There’s been a little bit of a lack of focus lately but I think we’re getting back on track. Just playing hard and giving a lot of effort.
WHAT'S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Beating Catholic.
WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? Stay focused and keep the intensity up during the games and practice.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? Probably getting off my blocks and getting to the ball.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? Staying low and not getting driven out.
AFTER YOU'RE THROUGH PLAYING FOOTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? The team, all of us being together, the community supporting us. Friday nights are probably the most memorable time for me.
