WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? One of those Tonka toy trucks.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I plan to go up to Wisconsin at Stevens Point and play football. Pre-vet
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? That would have to be my uncle, Uncle Kevin; he sticks by my side. He’s always messaging me even though he lives in St. Louis. He’s always offering to help me with whatever questions or situations I have going on in my life.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT FOOTBALL? Having the brothership and the bond, having a bunch of friends, and getting to play.
POSITION: Tight end
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? Block and catch the ball and get as far as possible.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think, at the beginning of the season, we had a bunch of stuff to improve on. I think we have got everything fixed now and we’re ready to rock and roll.
WHEN THE TEAM’S PLAYING WELL, WHAT’S THE KEY TO THAT? Everybody’s blocking, everybody’s playing as a team. It’s not a divided house. It’s not defense on their own and offense on our own.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? We’re going to have to play as a team the whole way through. We’ve got to encourage everybody to do well.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? I feel most confident catching the ball and making yards after the catch. It’s hard to tackle me when I have the ball.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? My blocking.
AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING FOOTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Hanging out with everybody and having fun.
