WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? A little Fisher-Price goal or my little guitar
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Go to college. Get a degree, maybe do pre-Med. It’s coming down to OBU or Henderson.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO’S HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? HOW? Probably my youth ministers, Danny and Josh. They’ve taught me a lot about life and just kind of made me more who I am.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BASKETBALL? Just the feeling you get running up and down with your friends and just the competition of it.
POSITION: Shooting guard
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ARE ON THE FLOOR? Play solid D and help out in any way on offense, be it scoring or passing or anything like that.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? It’s kind of mixed emotions because we’re doing good in some areas and in other areas we’re not. It could be better but it could be worse.
WHEN THE TEAM’S PLAYING WELL, WHAT’S IT DOING? We’re all focused, we’re all on the same page. We’re shooting the ball well and we’re all helping each other, fixing each other’s mistakes. When we’re playing well, we’re a team and I think we can beat anybody but when we’re not playing well we’re also a team that can get beat by anybody else.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Probably when we beat Wynne in four overtimes and our conference victory was big.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? Just continue focusing and, again, being on the same page, listening to coach and buying into what he’s telling us getting ready.
TALK ABOUT YOUR GAME NOW; WHAT ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO? The little things. I feel like I can help in little areas, rebounding, assists and those sort of things.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE ON IN PRACTICE? I want to be able to improve in scoring. We don’t score a lot of points as a team so our teams needs help in that area.
WHEN YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING BASKETBALL AT BRYANT HIGH SCHOOL, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL LOOK BACK AND REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE? All my friends, the hard work and the lessons that I’ve learned from all the coaches that I’ve had.
