What was your favorite toy as a kid? American Girl doll. Her name was Marisol.
What are your plans after high school? I plan to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for pre-pharmacy and then attend pharmacy school at UAMS.
Other than your parents, who has had the biggest influence on your life? How? My nana has had the biggest influence on my life because she has set an incredible example of how to raise a loving family!
Favorite thing about cheer: Being able to perform with 27 of my best friends, and I just love being in front of the fans at football games.
Thoughts on season so far: We’ve had a great season. We’ve won first place at every competition this year, and we finally won a State Championship!
What’s been the highlight of the season so far? WINNING STATE! The joy that overtook the team when our name was called at awards was priceless!
What’s it going to take for the team to be successful at nationals? To be successful at nationals will take us hitting a perfect routine and to do that will take perfect practices every day leading up to competition.
Individually, what about your performances are you most confident about? I’m most confident about my ability as a strong back spot in stunts and my energy in cheer!
What do you work hardest to improve? I work hardest to improve the teams’ synchronization throughout the whole routine.
After you’re through cheering at BHS, what do you think you’ll remember most fondly about it? The one thing I’ll remember most fondly after my three years on Bryant Varsity Cheer is the indescribable feeling of relief after hitting a perfect routine, especially when we hit at State my senior year! UNFORGETTABLE!!
