OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? David Easton. He’s a church teacher. He’s always been a great teacher, very spiritual, and helps out with anything bad.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT FOOTBALL: The brotherhood we have here.
POSITION: Offensive tackle
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? To protect the quarterback at all costs.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think it’s going good. I think we have a good shot this year in the playoffs, a lot better than we had last year.
WHEN THE TEAM’S DOING WELL, WHAT’S IT DOING? Our defense is really good and we’ve just got to get that pumped again. I think that once we find that fire, we’ll be unstoppable on defense. And I think, on offense, we’ve just got to get that drive again too.
WHAT'S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Probably the Conway game.
WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? That brotherhood. I guess you could say our whole senior class has brought it to us. We’ve just got to hope that the younger ones are able to step up and take their role.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? Practice with the team and make sure everything’s done right, and work hard.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? Pass blocking, I guess you could say. It’s not my best forte.
AFTER YOU'RE THROUGH PLAYING FOOTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Probably the game nights and being with the team and, like I said, the brotherhood. It’s something. Most of my friends are in football so that’s where it all comes from.
