WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? Sometimes I just like to drive around in my car and other times I like to catch up on TV shows and stuff.

FAVORITE TV SHOW: The Regular Show; it’s a cartoon show.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Either Tech Decks or Hot Wheels
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I’m going to go to a technical college somewhere, I’m not sure where yet. I want to study car audio and car mechanics.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Coach (Kirk) Bock; I like when he talks about marriage and commitment and working hard, struggling through things and getting the job done.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT BASEBALL: I think the smell and the memories of it when you walk into a ballpark; the seeds and all that.
POSITIONS: Pitcher and right field
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH AT THE PLATE? I’m thinking, load slow and get a pitch that’s from my waste to my knees.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH ON THE MOUND? Staying on line, making sure everything’s going to the plate.
WHAT PITCHES DO YOU THROW? Fastball, curveball, change
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE? Definitely the curveball
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH IN THE FIELD? I’m trying to anticipate where the ball’s going to go and beat it to the spot.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I’m pretty happy with it. We’ve had our struggles but you can tell our level of focus and all that’s going up as we progress.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Beating Conway. That was good stuff.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? Coming ready to play, I think, has been our biggest struggle sometimes.
TALK ABOUT YOUR GAME. WHAT ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO? Fielding in right field.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST IN PRACTICE TO IMPROVE ON? Hitting
AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING BASEBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? When we’ve had a tough loss or something and Coach Bock’s talking to us about commitment and stuff. That’s probably one of my favorite things about this program, him getting us ready for life.
