SIBLINGS: I have one sister, Rachel. She’s 19. And three step-brothers and a step-sister. Emily Miller is 14, Marcus is 13, Joshua is 10 and Jonathan is 9.
FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL: History
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? I like to hang out with friends and family, and be outdoors.
FAVORITE FOOD: Mexican
FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST OR GROUP: I like hip-hop.
FAVORITE MOVIE: I like the Harry Potter movies.
FAVORITE TV SHOW: Castle
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? I like those little dolls, Polly Pockets.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Go to college at Harding.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My grandpa; he’s just a great person, always there. He’s just a really good example.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT CROSS COUNTRY: Just being with my friends and being outdoors.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH TO A RACE (Strategy/Preparation)? I like to listen to music and kind of separate myself from everybody, get stretched and just calm down.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON? I think it’s been really good. We’re really good. Last season I was injured with a stress fracture so it’s kind of affected me this season but I’m getting better.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON? Just being with everybody and winning the first two races.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT CONFERENCE AND STATE MEETS? Just keep working and doing our best, pack-running.
