WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Barbies.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I want to attend the University of Central Arkansas and become and occupational therapist for pediatrics.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Probably my Memaw. She probably doesn’t realize it but she has always been there for me, just always kind of encouraged me and given that extra step and always pushing me a little harder.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT VOLLEYBALL: The team and all the girls on it.
POSITION: Right side hitter.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE COURT? One, majorly, is for blocks on the other team’s outside hitter.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I am beyond impressed with our team. We had a lot of high hopes coming into this season and we’ve gone above and beyond all of my expectations for this year.
WHEN THE TEAM’S PLAYING WELL, WHAT’S IT DOING? It’s because we’re all playing together and we all believe in each other. We’re not playing for ourselves but we’re playing for our teammate.
WHAT'S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Beating Mount (St. Mary Academy) to be tied at second in conference.
WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE PLAYOFFS? To keep playing together as a team and to believe in ourselves.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? I feel most confident in my hits and my consistency because I’m usually a consistent player.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? Blocks.
AFTER YOU'RE THROUGH PLAYING VOLLEYBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? I’m definitely going to remember the team the most and how we’ve just always been together as best friends and family. We’ve just always been there for each other.
