WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? I didn’t play with a lot of toys. I played outside.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I want to go to the University of Texas at Austin and study Social Psychology.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My twin sister because we’re really competitive.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT CROSS COUNTRY: I like how you mostly compete with yourself. You compete with everybody but it’s mostly beating your own time.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH TO A RACE? I just really let my nerves get really bundled up so I let out all the energy when I run.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON? I think we’re doing really, really good because our top runners are staying so close together that we’re able to be undefeated.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON? The highlight for me was getting my personal record at Chili Pepper.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT CONFERENCE AND STATE MEETS? I think just the top girls just to stay together.
AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH RUNNING CROSS COUNTRY AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? I guess just how close we all are and how hard we all worked at practice.
