CABOT — At halftime, the Bryant Lady Hornets junior varsity team trailed their counterparts from Cabot just 24-23. But, in the second half, the Lady Hornets were held to just 4 points as Cabot surged to a 50-27 win.
Cabot led 14-13 after a quarter. For Bryant, Casey Lee scored all 6 of her points during that stretch. Kayla Sory added a basket. In the second quarter, Abbi Stearns sparked Bryant with all 8 of her points.[more]
But the Lady Hornets' only basket in the third period was a basket by Reagan Barker. And she had the team's lone hoop of the fourth as well.
Barker finished with 6, London Abernathy had 5 for Bryant.
