Hurricane Creek Elementary School will be hosting its annual Father-Daughter Valentine’s[more] Day Ball this coming Saturday, Feb. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The dance is an annual event that Fellowship Bible Church of Benton has sponsored for the students at Hurricane Creek Elementary for the last five years.
Church volunteers decorate the school gym and set up refreshments and craft stations for those in attendance, according to Devin Sherrill, Communications Director at Bryant.
This year, the new elementary school, Hill Farm, is going to have a smaller version of the same dance. When the schools were rezoned at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year, many students at Hurricane Creek Elementary were rezoned to Hill Farm Elementary. As a result, the students at Hill Farm will be able to participate in the same type of event at Hill Farm on Saturday from 6-8 p.m., as well.
