The Bryant School District is seeking interested applicants to fill a vacancy on the school board created by the resignation of David Moore effective May 19, 2016. Moore represented Zone 4 in the Bryant School District.
Applicants must reside in Zone 4. The remaining two-year term will be on the ballot in the Sept. 20, 2016 school board election. This position’s full term is scheduled to expire in September 2018.
The applicants will be interviewed by the remaining board members at the June 7, 2016 special meeting. Following the interviews, the Board will consider a final appointment to fill the vacancy until the Sept. 20 school board election.
Interested candidates are invited to submit a letter of intent and a resume to Heather Tipton, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, by 12 p.m., noon on June 3, 2016. All submissions are subject to Arkansas’ Freedom of Information Act.
