On his last day as principal at Bryant High School, Dr. Jay Pickering greeted the senior class of 2016 this morning wearing his own graduation gown. Pickering has been hired by the Little Rock School District to serve as principal at a new middle school in west Little Rock. He’s been BHS principal since 2010. He’d previously served as assistant principal at Central High in Little Rock as well as Southwest Middle School.
