There will be a Salt Bowl Pep Rally Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Everett Buick Pontiac GMC in Bryant.
Coaches, players, cheer, drill teams and bands from Benton and Bryant will be on hand.[more]
Members of the media will compete to “Throw the Football in the Truck” for media bragging rights.
There will also be a drawing for the participants for Friday night's "Throw for a Truck" and "Kick for Chicken" contests and the local banks and credit unions will bring in their tallies from collecting for the Arkansas Rice Depot. The winning branch gets to sit in "Hog Heaven" on Friday night.
Each school will hold their campus pep rally's on Friday morning as well. Benton’s will be at Benton Arena around 9:30 a.m., and Bryant’s will be at the Hornet's Nest Gym around 11:30 a.m.
