HOT SPRINGS — Wesley Akers threw four touchdowns including two to Greyson Giles as the Bryant Hornets junior varsity earned[more] a 31-19 win at Lakeside Monday night.
Austin Powell and Jacob Thomas hauled in a touchdown pass apiece. Josh Lowery converted on all four touchdowns and addeda field goal.
Defensively, Collin Battaglia set up one of those scores with an interception.
“James Gibson came alive in the second half to cause havoc in Lakeside’s backfield,” mentioned Hornets coach Jason Hay.
The Hornets JV plays again on Monday, Oct. 17, at Benton.
