NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Bryant Blue Lady Hornets eighth grade volleyball team from Bethel Middle School won the first game of their match at North Little Rock in impressive fashion on Thursday night. But North Little Rock rallied and wound up winning the match, 15-25, 25-19, 15-10.
Emily Cox had seven consecutive serves for the Lady Hornets, now 3-4 going into a rematch at home against North Little Rock on Thursday, Oct. 9.
Madi Draper served up five aces and Ally Benoit one. Jenna Vos, Draper, Karlee Kindy and Ellen Barnes each had a kill with Vos adding a pair of blocks. Cassie Ray led with three digs.
