Slow starts hampered the Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade volleyball team of Bryant Middle School Monday night as their rallies fell short, 18-25, 17-25 against North Little Rock.
“We have got to start quicker,” asserted Bryant White coach DeAnna Ward. “We can’t keep getting behind early and trying to catch up.”
In the first set, the Lady Hornets fell behind 0-6.
“We never could close the gap,” Ward said. “We were not as aggressive at the net as I would like. We were not hitting with power. But we have all week to work on it.”
Bryant White is scheduled to return to action on Thursday at Cabot South.
