New Arkansas Razorbacks head football coach Bret Bielema will be the guest speaker at the annual Saline County Razorback Club Fish Fry on Wednesday, March 27, at the Benton High School cafeteria.
"We are certainly excited to welcome Coach Bielema to Saline County for this year's fish fry,” said retired circuit judge Bob Garrett, president of the Club. “Razorback football fans are excited about the new coach and we expect a great turnout to see him speak. Having our new coach come and address the fans of Saline County is a great honor and we look forward to everyone having a chance to come and meet and visit with Coach Bielema."
The Fish Fry will be catered by Denton's Trotline of Benton. The door prize entries and the silent auction bidding forRazorback memorabilia will[more] open at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 followed by the program featuring Coach Bielema. Door prizes will be given out throughout the program.
Tickets to the fish fry are $25 for adults, $10 for ages 6 and up and kids under age 5 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the Benton Chamber of Commerce, the Bryant Chamber of Commerce, and Yoakum and Lovell C.P.A. in Benton or from members of the Saline County Razorback Club board.
The members of the board are Philip Montalvo, Shane Broadway, Bruce Carlisle, Phil Daugherty, Gary James, Dan Jordan, Miki Morrow, Alton Robertson, Dean McCormack, Garrett, Sid Scarlett, Kelli Winters, Dan Yoakum, and Kathy Robbins.
