Channel your inner pirate and participate in the 25th annual Bryant Fall Fest’s newest[more] event:
Treasures in the Sand, sponsored by Heartland Bank of Bryant. Bring your Fall Fest postcard to Bishop Park on Saturday, Oct. 6 or register onsite at the Bryant Area Chamber booth to dig for buried treasure for adults – gas gift cards, etc.
“For our 25th celebration, we wanted to add an element of fun and excitement,” said chairperson Carlton Billingsley. “Great prizes are going to be drawn at each hour — two each hour and then three the final hour so that 25 times a drawing winner may dig for the prize. Then those who were winners through the day are back in the drawing for the grand prize – an iPad 3.”
The person must be present to win.
Ping pong balls numbered to match the prize list will be buried in the sand on a trailer. If your postcard is drawn, you will be invited to dig for a ping pong ball. You must be 18 to be eligible for the prizes.
“There are numerous activities for the children at Fall Fest as has been our long standing tradition,” said Fall Fest chairperson Karen Grice. “We wanted to get the adults involved with the kids cheering them in this event. Think of it as a reward for bringing the kids out to Fall Fest.”
