The Bryant City Council will revisit a 2011 resolution placing a moratorium on the approval for[more] permit, either new or pending, for the construction of multi-family residential facilities within the city limits when it meets for the first time in 2013 tonight.
The Council was to work on comprehensive zoning regulations and a comprehensive master growth plan during the moratorium. The finalized version is not complete in the area referred to as the Traditional Neighborhood Development Overlay District and Midtown.
The resolution states that the City Council deems it necessary to lift the moratorium’s restrictions to development in Midtown. And it is amended to exclude Midtown from the multi-family moratorium created by Resolution 2011-3.
The amended resolution was tabled at the last City Council meeting and is back on the agenda.
