LITTLE ROCK — The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has announced local students were selected to join the 2016 Chancellor’s Leadership Corps.
Chancellor’s Leadership Corps is a competitive scholarship program that provides up to $8,000 per year, up to $32,000 for four years, if renewal requirements are met.
CLC scholars have an opportunity to develop and enhance skills necessary for leadership positions, both on and off-campus. They complete 15 hours of service learning during fall and spring semesters and live on campus with peers.
To be eligible, candidates must be entering freshmen with at least a 3.0 cumulative high school grade point average. They also must participate in an on-campus interview at UALR to be considered for CLC, and a letter of recommendation from a high school official is highly encouraged.

Sydney Sale of Alexander. Planned major: Bachelor of Fine Arts
Jayna Sternod of Bryant. Planned major: Business or Biology
Aleah Wood of Bryant. Planned major: Anatomy/Biology
