Robert Burdett of Bryant has filed a lawsuit in U.S. District court against Bryant police officer[more] Michael Turner concerning a traffic accident on Aug. 18, 2011.
Burdett claims in the lawsuit that Turner unlawfully arrested a county resident after a traffic accident.
Burdett took photos of the accident and complained of the police department's "incompetence."
The lawsuit was filed on Dec. 5. It is not know when the case will be heard.
