LITTLE ROCK — The Little Rock Christian eighth grade team rushed to a 10-2 lead in the first quarter on its way to a 28-9 win over the Bryant Blue Lady Hornets of Bethel Middle School Thursday night.[more]
The Bryant Blue team includes Annamarie Blair, Isabella Bluemmel, Julie Brazil, Nikki Clay, Haley Dellis, Brittany Kelley, Mercedes Dillard, Yessenia Gasper, Katelyn Giffin, Emily Henson, Allison Hughes, Jamie Jamison, Rylee Phillips, Sadie Powers, and Dominque West.
The Lady Hornets will return to play at the Wildcat Classic at Little Rock Episcopal today. The eighth grade takes on Rose City at 4 while the seventh grade faces Arkansas Baptist at 6 p.m.
Little Rock Christian’s fast start extended through three quarters. It was 19-5 at the half and 28-6 going into the fourth quarter.
Phillips led the Lady Hornets with 3 points and four rebounds.
